Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains our policy regarding refunds for subscriptions, book purchases, and other paid services offered by BookSystem. By making a purchase, you agree to this Refund Policy.

2. Subscription Refunds

We do not offer refunds on subscriptions.

All subscription fees are non-refundable. This applies to monthly subscriptions, annual subscriptions, and any other subscription plans offered by BookSystem.

2.1 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. When you cancel:

  • You will continue to have access to paid features until the end of your current billing period
  • You will not be charged for future billing periods
  • No refund will be provided for the current billing period or any previous billing periods
  • Your account will be downgraded to the free tier at the end of the billing period

2.2 Trial Periods

If you cancel during a free trial period, you will not be charged. Once a trial period ends and billing begins, all subscription fees are non-refundable.

3. Book Purchase Refunds

3.1 Digital Books

Digital book purchases are generally final and non-refundable due to the nature of digital content. However, refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:

  • Technical issues preventing access to the purchased content
  • Duplicate purchases due to system error
  • Unauthorized purchase (fraudulent transaction)
  • Content significantly differs from the description

3.2 Refund Request Window

Refund requests for digital book purchases must be submitted within 14 days of purchase. After this period, refunds will not be considered except in exceptional circumstances.

4. Premium Features

One-time purchases of premium features are generally non-refundable. However, if you experience technical issues that prevent you from using a purchased feature, please contact us and we will work to resolve the issue or provide a refund if the issue cannot be resolved.

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at support@aigent.bot. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.

5.2 Effect of Cancellation

When you cancel:

  • You will continue to have access to paid features until the end of your billing period
  • You will not be charged for future billing periods
  • Your account will be downgraded to the free tier at the end of the billing period
  • You will retain access to content you created, subject to free tier limitations

6. Refund Processing

6.1 Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

6.2 Refund Method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. If the original payment method is no longer available, please contact us to arrange an alternative refund method.

7. Exceptions and Special Circumstances

We may provide refunds in exceptional circumstances, including:

  • Service outages or technical issues preventing use of the Service
  • Billing errors or duplicate charges
  • Fraudulent transactions
  • Legal requirements in your jurisdiction
  • Other circumstances at our sole discretion

8. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback or dispute a charge with your payment provider, we may suspend or terminate your account pending resolution of the dispute. We encourage you to contact us directly to resolve any billing issues before initiating a chargeback.
